Bike Week is San Benito County’s annual May promotion to encourage residents of all ages to ride their bicycles as a means of reducing traffic congestion and air pollution from vehicle emissions. BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY
Bike to School Day, held on Thursday, May 8th, encourages students to ride their bicycles to school. This program aims to motivate students to bike to school by providing a free breakfast, peer support, and prizes. By encouraging students to safely ride to and from school, San Benito RideShare strives to reduce childhood obesity, traffic at school sites, and greenhouse gas emissions.

BIKE TO WORK DAY
Bike to Work Day, held on Thursday, May 8th, encourages residents to leave their car at home and commute by bicycle. Bike To Work Day is fun, saves energy, protects the environment, and helps you to keep fit. Participants that ride their bicycle to work receive a free breakfast at any designated breakfast location.
